The monthly contribution to the convalescent home - Flint House in Goring-on-Thames is to be increased from September of this year from £7.48 a month to £9.21 following a decision by the Trustees. (please see attached article)
This is a fantastic rehabilitation centre which covers you for injury or illness that occurred either on or off duty.
If you would like to leave or even join the scheme then please contact debbie.southerden@beds.polfed.org
If you would like to visit Flint House then please download the relevant form on their website www.flinthouse.co.uk along with instructions as to its completion and forward it to the Federation Office for signing and processing.
If you are due to retire soon then you may be interested to know that you can attend the convalescent home if you were a contributing member whilst a serving officer, however due to the demand required for serving officers there will now be a cost of £400 for the two week period.
