The Police Children’s Fund is a UK charity that provides financial support to the children of police officers who have died or been medically retired.

The charity exists to help young people continue to thrive when family circumstances have changed, providing support that promotes education, wellbeing and personal development. Its aim is to ensure that every child it supports has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

The Fund awards grants that help children and young people access essentials, educational opportunities and activities that contribute to their growth and development.

Support may include:

  • Educational resources and equipment
  • School-related expenses
  • School trips and enrichment activities
  • Driving lessons
  • Musical instruments
  • Other opportunities that support learning and personal development

As a member of Police Charities UK, the Police Children’s Fund works alongside other charities to support the wider police family. Its approach is centred on compassion, understanding and long-term support for children facing difficult circumstances.
