Police Mutual Wellbeing

Police Mutual are launching their Wellbeing Campaign aiming to raise awareness that the start of the year can be financially tough for people after the festive period.

A statistics from the Police Federation report in October 2019 states that only 36% of police officers had enough money to cover all their essentials every month. Given that December is a month people tend to overspend it’s likely that some maybe finding January and February a struggle financially.

The tools promoted in the campaign aim to encourage people to review their finances to help them to manage debt, budget and to start saving for the future.

  • Financial fitness test
  • Budget calculator
  • Life planner
  • Information on managing debt

Financial Wellbeing can have an effect on an individual’s overall wellbeing so the campaign’s main aim is to help and support anyone who may be feeling the pinch.
